Kužno znamenje je postavljeno na zgornji Vinogradniški poti. Postavili so ga prebivalci pod Srobotnikom kot pomnik v zahvalo za konec kuge, ki je kosila od 14. do 17. stoletja in terjala življenje tretjine prebivalstva Evrope. Kuga je huda nalezljiva bolezen, ki prizadene različne dele telesa. Najpogostejši vir okužbe za človeka so podgane. Ker se pojavijo notranje in podkožne krvavitve, se na telesu pojavijo črne lise, od tod ime za kugo - črna smrt.
The Plague SignThe Plague sign is placed by the upper Vineyard Route. It was erected by the inhabitants who live under the Srobotnik as a reminder of the gratitude for the end of the plague, which spread between the 14th and 17th century and killed a third of the European population. The plague is a severe infectious disease that affects various parts of the body. Rats are the most common source of human infection. Since internal and under skin bleedings occur, the body gets covered with black marks, hence the name for the plague - the Black Death.
